When my mother was placed on hospice, we felt lost and overwhelmed. Alexis was an anchor for our family, guiding us through the final days with so much grace and compassion. She helped us create a sacred space, answered all of our questions, and supported us emotionally every step of the way. Because of her, my mother’s passing was peaceful, and we were able to focus on love instead of fear. I cannot express how deeply grateful we are for her presence during such a difficult time.

I had no idea what a death doula was until a friend suggested we reach out to Alexis. From the moment we connected, I knew we were in the hands of someone truly special. She not only provided practical guidance but also held space for our emotions in a way that was deeply healing. She helped my husband write letters to our children, plan his final wishes, and find comfort in the unknown. Even after he passed, she continued to check in, offering grief support and resources. Her work is a gift to this world.

Alexis was more than just a support system—she was an advocate for my father’s dignity and wishes when he could no longer speak for himself. She worked alongside hospice, helped us understand medical choices, and made sure we honored his values in his final days. She advocated for allowing us to say goodbye in a way that felt meaningful and personal. I never knew this kind of service existed, but now I can’t imagine going through the end-of-life journey without a doula.
